Mariana Llanos

is a lead research fellow at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) and co-editor of GIGA’s “Journal of Politics in Latin America”. She holds the ERA-Chair at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague and is an extraordinary professor for “Democratic Institutions in the Global South” at the University of Erfurt.
