At D+C/E+Z, we are proud of our international network of authors. It is particularly important to us to be a platform for voices from the global south. Some authors contribute on a regular basis, others don't. Here you can find information about the people behind the contributions.

contributed to D+C/E+Z in winter of 2020/2021. He is a Mumbai-based novelist who writes in Urdu and English, and the recipient of India’s highest literary award, the Sahitya Akademi Award, for his novel “Rohzin” in 2018. A German translation of this book was published by Draupadi Verlag (Heidelberg, 2018) with the title: “Die Stadt, das Meer, die Liebe”. Penguin Random House India has acquired the rights to publish two novels, including Rohzin, in English in 2021.
