Nairobi’s “artivists” are planning the city’s first biennial

Kibera Arts District (KAD) is a project in Nairobi that uses art to drive change in one of East Africa’s largest slums. This year, KAD is planning something big: Kenya’s first art biennial. We spoke to the project’s founders about their work and plans.
