Between 2015 and 2024, Nepal achieved the greatest SDG progress of any country in the East and Southeast Asia region. Poverty reduction and infrastructure development contributed to this success. Nevertheless, the country still has a long way to go and has recently been set back by natural disasters and political turmoil.
